Boettcher announces campaign message. Politics aside, this election is a referendum on District leadership and undivided loyalty to our community. A pattern of divided attention, self-serving interests, and absence has emerged. My intention is to provide the missing elements of leadership, duty, and responsibility to the community back to HD-28.
Robert Boettcher Announces Candidacy for Texas House District 28
Sugar Land, TX – It is my great honor to announce my candidacy for Texas House District 28.
Over the past days, I have been approached by various local elected officials and District residents regarding their concerns about our current State Representative’s leadership, effectiveness, and acumen as a legislator. They universally pointed first to his leaving the District during the Great Freeze last February, his lack of personal accomplishment in the legislature, and an apparent inability to build relationships within the legislature to further solutions to District issues.
